Allow me to introduce myself. I am Dr. Mary DeLorey. I graduated from University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. I have been in equine practice in Washington ever since. My practice is devoted exclusively to high quality general and advanced equine dentistry. My goal is to compliment and enhance the care that your horse gets from your regular equine veterinarian.

During my 8 years in general equine practice, my time and interests focused increasingly on equine dentistry. In 2001, I decided to devote all my professional energies to equine dentistry. I acquired even more specialized training, traveling to work one-on-one with some of the most respected and experienced practitioners in the country to fine tune my skills. Since Northwest Equine Dentistry, Inc. was formed in 2001, I have had the pleasure to meet over 5000 exeptional horses and help their owners provide the very best in equine dental care. I have traveled all over the country to lecture and instruct my veterinary colleagues in equine dental technique. My owner education articles are published in some of the largest horse interest publications in the country. It's been a busy and extremely rewarding several years.

As a medical professional, it is my responsibility to stay abreast of advances and changes in this very dynamic area of equine medicine. I am an active member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), my profession's premiere organization for the scientific advancement of equine veterinary medicine and professional support. I served on the AAEP's committee for Equine Dentistry and Dental Education from 2002-2004 and was invited to instruct at the 2003 and 2005 dentistry wet labs for equine veterinarians. I continue to work closely with the AAEP and it's dentistry committee to advance the dental knowledge and skill level of equine practitioners for the benefit of the horse. I am a member of the American Veterinary Dental Society (AVDS) which promotes and advances veterinary dentistry in general and is currently expanding to establish equine dentistry as a recognized practice specialty. Membership in these groups introduces me to professionals in equine dentistry who help me constantly expand my knowledge and improve my skills.

In addition I'm constantly acquiring new state-of-the-art equipment in order to provide your horse the very best care available anywhere.

My practice is devoted exclusively to equine dentistry. My goal is to work in concert with your regular equine veterinarian to achieve your goals for your horse's health and performance. I am proud to serve horses and their owners in the state of Washington.
